Hey,
I'm Alec.
Hello, my name is Alec Romero-Hoffman, I am a Denver-based Portrait Photographer & Artist. I specialize in all types of photography as well as creating artwork both in 2-D and 3-D using my Arthouse photography as the subject providing visually unique art pieces. I have always had a passion for photography ever since I was a young girl, capturing beautiful moments and images whenever I could.
In my angsty teenage days, I found beauty in the goth girl sitting on the bus. For this image, I won the Jeffco Art Show Purchase Award. My high school purchased the image to be put on display in the school. After graduating high school I decided to continue my education in photography and attended Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara California.
From grass-roots
beginnings.
I have had many opportunities to further my experience within the world of photography since then. My first job was working as a personal assistant to a gallery owner and creator of The Photo Martini Club. This provided a platform for photographers missing the challenge of bringing a word to life.
I also have experience working behind the scenes for short films, “Don’t Blink” By Johnny Johnson and “The Field of Screams” by Steve Whittet. I did a variety of tasks in the makeup and costume department as well as photography on set.

Recently I have been working to excel in my professional development by joining creative workshops. This provides an atmosphere for photographers, models, makeup artists, and designers to come together to learn, network, and grow as a creative team.
This all leads me to the person I am today, creating art and capturing different stories through a lens. It is such a special feeling to provide lasting memories for all occasions, I look forward to meeting and creating with you!
